3-day (24 hours) classroom course

Risk-Based IOSA Airline Training aviation training course

IATA’s Risk-Based IOSA Airline Training course will enable you to meet the internal auditor qualification requirements of the IOSA Standard and Recommended Practice (ISARP) ORG 2.19 and be ready for the risk based IOSA audit. Over 3 days of instruction, discussion, role play, interactive exercises and a day of audit simulation exercises, you will have a comprehensive understanding of the training curriculum for auditors who are assigned to conduct internal auditing against the IOSA Standards and Recommended Practices (ISARPs). You will also learn how to interpret ISARPs, understand quality assurance requirements and audit methodology, have an in-depth understanding of the risk based IOSA audit and be able to coordinate all preparation, conduct and follow up activities.

Prerequisites

  • Participants should have previous airline auditing knowledge and experience.
  • Recommended level is Advanced.
  • The recommended level of language proficiency is ICAO Operational Level 4 for courses in English or the equivalent level for other languages.

Certificate awarded

An IATA Certificate of Completion is awarded to participants obtaining a grade of 70% or higher on all exercises and exams. A special distinction is awarded to participants obtaining a grade of 90% or higher.
